Grammy Awards 2021: Beyoncé entra nella storia, trionfo di Taylor Swift e Billie Eilish

Le donne sono state le vere protagoniste di questa edizione dei Grammy Awards, a partire da Beyoncé che entra nella storia con i 28 premi vinti, diventando l’artista femminile più premiata nella storia della manifestazione, superando il record della violinista Alison Krauss, che a oggi vanta 27 riconoscimenti. Queen Bee si è aggiudicata le categorie Best R&B Performance e Best Rap Song, quest’ultima insieme a Megan Thee Stallion.

Grande successo anche per Billie Eilish, che vince il premio più ambito, il Record of the year, con “Everything I Wanted”, bissando il successo dell’anno scorso. Anche Taylor Swift trionfa con “Folklore”, aggiudicandosi il premio Album of the Year, uno dei riconoscimenti più prestigiosi. Megan Thee Stallion è la miglior nuova artista dell’anno, oltre ad aggiudicarsi i riconoscimenti per Best Rap Performance e Best Rap Song per “Savage” con Beyoncé. Dua Lipa trionfa con “Future Nostalgia”, aggiudicandosi il titolo Best Pop Vocal Album, mentre H.E.R. va il riconoscimento Song of the Year per “I Can’t Breathe”. Miranda Lambert si aggiudica il Best Country Album per “Wildcard”, mentre a Harry Styles va il Best Pop Solo Performance per “Watermelon Sugar”, dopo aver aperto la serata con una sua esibizione.

I BTS, che hanno chiuso la scaletta delle esibizioni, sono tornati a casa a mani vuote. Erano stati nominati per il Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, ma il premio se lo sono aggiudicate Lady Gaga e Ariana Grande per “Rain on Me”.
