Taylor Swift trionfa ai Grammy Awards 2024 e annuncia il nuovo album

Ieri sera si è tenuta la cerimonia dei Grammy Awards 2024, in diretta dalla Crypto.com Arena di Los Angeles. La serata ha visto trionfare le donne, da Taylor Swift a Billie Eilish e Miley Cyrus, le star si sono aggiudicate i premi più importanti della serata.

Taylor Swift ha vinto nella categoria Album of the year con “Midnights”, a Miley Cyrus il premio per il Record of the year con “Flowers”, Victoria Monét come Best new artist e Billie Eilish ha bissato il successo di “What Was I Made For?”, dalla colonna sonora di “Barbie”, aggiudicando il premio Song of the year.

Taylor Swift ha mantenuto la sua “tradizione” di annunciare i nuovi album durante le serate di gala, come aveva già fatto con “Midnights”, che è stato annunciato agli MTV VMAs 2022, mentre veniva premiata nella categoria Video dell’anno. Un rituale portafortuna che la cantante statunitense ha voluto replicare con l’annuncio del nuovo disco, “The tortured poets department”, che uscirà il 19 aprile.

Con la vittoria del Grammy per il miglior album dell’anno, Taylor Swift entra nella storia battendo ogni record: è la prima artista, nei sessantasei anni di Grammy Awards, a vincere per quattro volte questo titolo. Momento reso ancora più emozionante dall’apparizione a sorpresa di Céline Dion, applauditissima dal pubblico. La cantante canadese, che sta lottando contro il raro disturbo neurologico, la sindrome della persona rigida, è salita sul palco proprio per premiare Swift al termine della serata.
