Il nipote di Schumacher è considerato uno dei talenti più interessanti del panorama mondiale

3 ottobre 2019 – Un altro Schumacher in pista: David, figlio dell’ex pilota di Formula 1 Ralf e nipote del sette volte campione del mondo Michael Schumacher, correrà nel week-end all’autodromo del Mugello (Firenze).

David Schumacher, non ancora diciottenne, sta partecipando al “Formula Regional European Championship”, campionato ufficiale della Federazione internazionale dell’automobile (Fia) che si correrà nel fine settimana sulla pista toscana.
Il giovane, considerato uno dei talenti più interessanti del panorama mondiale, ha fatto il suo debutto in F3 nell’ultimo week-end di settembre: a Sochi, in Russia, David, schierato con il team Campos Racing, ha preso parte a due gare sostituendo l’infortunato Alex Peroni e arrivando rispettivamente 22esimo e 20esimo.

“Sono davvero felice di arrivare in un team di alto profilo come Campos Racing. Sarà la mia prima volta al volante di una monoposto del genere, dunque dovrò essere realista e avere come obiettivo quello di imparare più che potrò” – ha commentato il giovanissimo pilota sul suo profilo Instagram.
